DBA’s Information, Resources and Workshop Reference Group (IRWRG) Project is excited to share the progress of their Train the Trainer program. The four Deafblind Trainers are located in WA, NSW and VIC. There are 14 training sessions in total, half of them already completed. Trainers will facilitate workshops on Deafblind Awareness for NDIA, Deafblind Awareness and Safety training for Local Government, Deafblind Technology Training, Deafblind Communication Trainings for Auslan Interpreters, and the roll-out of an online Deafblind Self-Advocacy toolkit.
