Janet joined Deafblind Australia as a Project Manager for the Seen and Heard project in October 2021. She brings a background in workshop facilitation and business management to her work on the project, which focuses on improving digital literacy and independence for Deafblind community members. Seen and Heard’s workshops build practical digital literacy, such as navigating a website, connecting through social media, and learning about and safely using apps. Janet has a passion for connection and community. She focuses on improving social inclusion through building meaningful relationships and having genuine interactions.
