Where are we going?

ADBC is committed to educating members of the public and relevant government organisations about deafblindness as this unique dual sensory disability affects an individual’s communication with regard to reception and expression.  The disability also seriously impacts upon an individual’s social interaction and mobility. Further, deafblindness in children can profoundly affect family interaction, communication and education opportunity. With adults, the dual disability affects an individual’s ability to function independently, as well as causing difficulties in developing social networks and independent travel.
